HADCO Limited is the proud Franchise holder for the Häagen-Dazs Shops in Trinidad and Tobago. First opened in Ellerslie Plaza, Maraval in September 2003, our Häagen-Dazs Shop has enjoyed immense growth and popularity. Today we have 10 shops – nine located in Trinidad and one located in Tobago.
Not only are the Häagen-Dazs Shops known for world famous premium ice cream with over 24 delightful flavors to choose from, but also for a range of desserts, pastries, cakes, coffee, cocktails and more!

Ice cream like no other
Häagen-Dazs ™ has manufactured ice cream like no other since 1961. The vision of our founder, Reuben Mattus, was to develop the most extraordinary ice cream the world has ever tasted, a spoonful of luxury to escape from everyday life. And to get there, he only used the highest quality ingredients, carefully selected. As Reuben said: "If you are like everyone else, you are lost." So we make an ice cream like no other - the best that can be done.
Passionate about ice cream
Reuben Mattus, from the age of nine, had the mission of creating an ice cream with a silky texture, soft and creamy with flavors that were similar to the adult palate. He married Rose, a business genius, and together they launched Häagen-Dazs ™ with three simple flavors: chocolate, vanilla and coffee. Today we have 46 extraordinary flavors (there is much to try). Each step in the development of Häagen-Dazs ™ has been driven by a true passion for perfection (imagine, it took us six years to discover how to make the best strawberry ice cream).
